GMX Search: Mobile Usage

Follow these steps to use GMX Search on your smartphone.

1. Open the browser on your smartphone.
2. Enter the address search.gmx.com in the search field and confirm with the Enter key.
   GMX Search opens.
3. Enter your search term in the search field of GMX Search.
4. Tap Enter or the magnifying glass icon.
   The search results page opens.

Follow these steps to use the GMX Search app on your Android smartphone.

1. Open the Google Play Store and search for "GMX Search".
2. Tap on Install.
   The search app is downloaded and installed in the background.
3. Return to the Home screen and open the GMX Search app.
4. Enter your search term in the search field of GMX Search.
5. Tap Enter or the magnifying glass icon.
   The search results page opens.

   You also have the option to add a search widget to your home screen. To do this, press and hold an empty space on the Home screen and then select the widget.

Create a GMX Search shortcut on the home screen of your Android device to access it faster.

1. Open a browser a go to the website search.gmx.com.
   The GMX Search web page opens.
2. Tap on the menu icon (⁝) in the browser.
   A context menu opens.
3. In the context menu, tap Add to Home Screen.
   The Add to Home Screen context window opens.

A shortcut to the GMX search engine has been added to the home screen. By tapping the shortcut, the browser opens automatically and you can use GMX Search immediately.
