Add GMX Search shortcut to home screen on Android devices

Create a GMX Search shortcut on the home screen of your Android device to access it faster.

  1. Open a browser a go to the website search.gmx.com.
    The GMX Search web page opens.
  2. Tap on the menu icon (⁝) in the browser.
    A context menu opens.
  3. In the context menu, tap Add to Home Screen.
    The Add to Home Screen context window opens.
  4. Give the shortcut a name of your choice or accept the suggested name and then tap Add.


A shortcut to the GMX search engine has been added to the home screen. By tapping the shortcut, the browser opens automatically and you can use GMX Search immediately.
