Synchronizing with the Mac OS Calendar

Synchronize your GMX Organizer with your calendar application on Mac OS to make sure, that your appointments are up to date.

  1. Set up an application-specific password and make a note of it.
  2. In your Mac OS Calendar menu, select Preferences.
  3. Switch to the Accounts tab and click the "+" button on the lower left.
  4. Select the CalDAV account type.
  5. Enter your GMX email address and the application-specific password you created in step 1.
  6. In the Server address field, enter the path https://caldav.gmx.com/.
  7. Click Create.
Your GMX Organizer is synchronized with the Mac OS calendar.

If you retrieve your emails via POP3/IMAP, you will then need a separate application-specific password. Use this instead of your usual password in the email programme or the email app provided by the other provider.
