Manage and use templates

With Online Office you can use templates to easily create different types of documents. You can choose between different templates for documents, presentations or tables to create letters, recipes or timetables. On top of that, you can create your own templates from already existing files.

Utilize Templates in Online Office
  1. Click on Templates.

    A selection of available templates opens.
  2. To filter the templates by file type, click on All templates.

  3. Click on a template.
    The dialogue window for creating a new file opens.
  4. Enter a name for the new file.

    Info:

    Make sure to choose a name, that hasn't been used yet. If the name has already been used you will be prompted by an error message.

  5. Click on Save.
    The new file opens in the editor.
Create new file from "My templates"
  1. Click on My templates.
  2. In My templates, click on a template.
  3. Enter a file name and click on Save.



A new file is created from the template.
Edit templates in "My templates"
  1. Click on My templates.
  2. Right-click on a template.
  3. Click on Edit template.



The editing mode opens.
Delete template from "My templates"
  1. Click on My templates.
  2. Right-click on a template.
  3. Click on Remove from templates.



The template is deleted.
