Forwarding an Extended Header

The extended header of an email contains relevant information with which the GMX customer support can help you in case of a problem.

If you have questions about sending or receiving an email, always send GMX customer support the text of the extended header. You can see the sending history of an email with the help of an "extended header".

  1. Click the information symbol in the relevant email. A window with the extended email information will open.
  2. Hold down the left mouse button to select the text, and copy the selected text by pressing Ctrl + C.

    Open the extended header if you want to see the sending history of an email.

  3. Open a new email and paste the copied text into the message body by pressing Ctrl + V.
  4. Send the email to the email address specified by the customer support employee.
