Integration on Windows 8

    If you are using Windows 8, you can connect your GMX File Storage as a network drive and manage files directly on your computer.

    1. Move the mouse pointer to the upper right corner of the screen and click the magnifying glass icon.
    2. Enter Computer in the search field.
    3. Click My Computer.
      Windows Explorer opens.
    4. If the Map Network Drive button is not shown, click Computer next to File.
    5. Click Map Network Drive.
    6. Select a drive letter.
    7. Next to Folder:, enter this network address: https://storage-file-eu.gmx.com.
    8. If you want to automatically connect to your File Storage when you log in to your computer, put a checkmark next to Reconnect at logon.
    9. Click Finish.
    10. Enter your GMX e-mail address and password.
    11. Click OK.
      The connection to your File Storage is established.
    Your File Storage is displayed in a new window.
