Adding files and folders

You can use your GMX Mail App for Android to access the Cloud and add files and folders.

  1. Tap the plus symbol in the lower right corner.
    A context menu appears on the lower screen.
  2. Tap Upload files.
  3. Choose a locally stored file.

    Tap the menu symbol in the upper left corner to choose an application to upload the file from.

    The window MediaCenter appears.
  4. Choose the folder in your Cloud in which you want to save the file.
    • Choose an existing folder by tapping the folder name and tapping Insert.
    • Create a new folder by tapping the New folder symbol and confirm with OK.
    The item is uploaded in the background.

Creating a new folder

Create new folders in your Cloud to manage your files efficiently.

  1. Tap the plus symbol in the lower right corner.

    A context menu appears.
  2. Tap New folder.
  3. Enter a name for your new folder in the window Enter folder name.
  4. Confirm with OK.
You have created a new folder in which you can store files like photos or videos. Because the Cloud is synchronized, you can also access the newly created folder in your GMX account.
