Creating a New Recovery Document

Create a recovery document to be able to restore lost encryption data and/or use it on other devices.

Lost your recovery document? Follow these steps to create a new one.

  1. In your inbox click Settings.
  2. Click Security, then Encryption.
  3. Click Backup and Recovery, then Create Recovery Document.
    GMX will create a new recovery document and show it in a new window.
  4. Click Print.
