Uploading files

Upload elements such as photos or videos and use Cloud synchronisation to gain access to your files at any time and anywhere, from your smartphone, tablet or PC.

Requirements: These will be located in the folder you select for uploading elements.

For this feature, please ensure that you have granted permission for the use of your photos by the GMX Cloud App for iOS. If access is denied, you can grant permission in your iPhone or iPad settings under “Data protection – photos”.

  1. In the GMX Mail App for iOS, go to Files in the bottom navigation bar and tap the plus symbol in the upper right corner.
    A context menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Upload file.

    Pick photos

    A window will open, showing all files and folders stored on the device.
  3. Choose the files you want to upload and then tap Done, to upload them.
    The elements will be uploaded in the background. Afterwards, you have the option of moving uploaded elements to other folders.
