Managing Folders

Add a new folder to sort your e-mail as you like. You can also edit an newly added folder afterwards and make sure that it has the right settings.

How to create a folder

Note:

You can create up to 256 folders.

  1. Click on Create Folder.
  2. Enter a folder name. The permitted special characters are _ - .ä ö ü ß and a blank space.
  3. Press Enter on your keyboard.
The new folder is created and appears in the folder list.

How to create a sub-folder

  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Click on Folder Overview.
  3. Click on Create Folder.
  4. Enter the folder name and choose which folder the sub-folder should be located in.
  5. Click OK.

How to move a folder to a different folder

  1. Move your mouse over the appropriate folder and click the wrench icon.
  2. In the menu that appears, you may select a different parent folder it will then appear under.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.

How to rename a folder

Note:

You cannot rename the system folders.

  1. Move your mouse over the appropriate folder and click the wrench icon.
  2. Change the folder name.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.

How to empty a folder

  1. Move your mouse over the appropriate folder and click the wrench icon.
  2. Click on Empty Folder.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.

How to delete a folder

Warning:

You cannot delete the system folders.

  1. Move your mouse over the appropriate folder and click the wrench icon.
  2. Click Delete Folder.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
