Taking photos

The GMX Cloud App for iOS offers you the option of taking photos directly from the app itself, using your device’s camera. The photos taken will then be saved directly in your GMX Cloud App for iOS.

For this feature, please ensure that you have granted permission for the use of your camera by the GMX Cloud App for iOS. If access is denied, you can grant permission in your iPhone or iPad settings under “Data protection – camera”.

  1. Tap the plus symbol on the upper right in the menu bar.

    A context menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Take a picture.

    Take photo

    Your device‘s camera application will be opened.
  3. Take a photo.
    • If you are not happy with the photo taken, tap Take again to retake the shot.
    • If you are happy with the photo, tap Use photo to save it in your Cloud.
You have taken a photo and saved it directly with your GMX Cloud App for iOS.
