Your e-mail address is automatically saved by your browser per default. If you forgot it,
you can view it with a few clicks.
Can't remember your GMX email address?
Your browser may still know it, and you can just look it up.
Firefox: View the e-mail address
Click the menu button and Options.
Click
Security and
Saved Passwords....
A list of saved passwords will appear.
To narrow down the list, enter
in the search field. Click the
Show Passwords button and confirm by clicking
Yes.
Internet Explorer: View the e-mail address
Move the mouse to the upper right corner of the screen and click
the magnifying glass icon. Enter
Control Panel in the search field. Click the
appropriate entry.
Click
User Accounts.
Under
Credential Manager, click
Manage Web Credentials.
A list of saved passwords will appear.
To narrow down the list, enter
in the search field. Click the
appropriate entry and then
Show. Enter your Windows user password and
confirm by clicking
OK.
Chrome: View the e-mail address
Click the menu button and Settings.
At the very bottom, click Advanced.
In the
Passwords and forms section, click
Manage passwords.
A list of saved passwords will appear.
To narrow down the list, enter
in the search field. Click the
appropriate entry and then
Show.
Safari: View the e-mail address
Click
Safari and then
Preferences....
Switch to the
Passwords tab.
A list of saved passwords will appear.
To narrow down the list, enter
in the search field. Check the box
next to
Show passwords for selected websites. Enter your
Mac user password and confirm by clicking
OK.
Thunderbird: View the e-mail address
To open the options, press the
Alt and
T keys at the same time.
Click
Options.
Switch to the
Security tab and click
Passwords. Click the
Saved Passwords... button.
A list of saved passwords will appear.
To narrow down the list, enter
in the search field. Click
Show Passwords and confirm by clicking
Yes.
